The Westchester Youth Soccer League is now the third-largest league in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association, the state organization to which the League is affiliated, and one of the largest youth soccer leagues in the United States. The League and the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association are both affiliates of the United States Youth Soccer Association ("USYSA"), the largest member of the United Stated Soccer Federation, the governing body for soccer in the United States. The WYSL sponsors Fall and Spring seasonal travel soccer for its member clubs, including a High School mini-season in the Fall, and a Select Program featuring summer tournament play. The League also sponsors coach training, including USYSA progressive certification courses, and supports the Positive Coaching Alliance and the principles of positive coaching. Each season, the League awards the team in each division with the highest sportsmanship scores a special Sporting Conduct Award. The League registers more than 12,500 players under the age of nineteen, has more than thirty (30) member clubs, and fields more than 500 youth girls and boys' travel soccer teams. Contacting the League If you wish to contact the League for any reason, we strongly encourage you to contact them only through the coach of your team, the club registrar or the club president. As you can imagine, the League is not set up to respond individually to the thousands of parents whose children play travel soccer. In fact, they rarely respond at all to questions, complaints or requests unless they are made through the club.
